As a first step, this is what we are doing to become better allies to the BIPOC community:
- Recruitment & Hiring: We understand that it is a privilege to be able to do what we love every day in the health and wellness space. We also realize that the wellness industry as a whole needs to be more diverse and inclusive. As a start, we are working to welcome and actively seek out a more diverse range of candidates for all positions.
- Corporate Social Responsibility: As a B Corp, we will re-evaluate our charitable giving initiatives to ensure more equitable focus and distribution of donations to support our goal of bringing better nutrition to more people, regardless of their socioeconomic status.
- Brand: We commit to representing more diversity in our brand and will seek out more diverse creators to work with on a long-term basis.
- Education: We are committing to engaging in conversations about race to educate ourselves on anti-racism. This is just the beginning, and we are committed to sharing more information with all employees and our consumers on an ongoing basis.
We are committed to transparency and will continue to communicate how we are evolving as an organization.
